The Mission Zone is described by OMF as tools for Sunday Schools, youth fellowships, family fun times or school classes.

Each page is divided into several sections. First the significance of the topic and some background is given for the teacher, then some introductory questions are posed for the children to discuss. Next the Bible study proper followed by a section guiding children through its application to everyday life. Finally there is a memory verse and a prayer.

This is not a book for children to study by themselves - it answers its own questions (reassuring for teachers though it could be a little limiting). It is ideal for 10 to 14 year-olds though it could easily be adapted for younger children.

Topics include: The Bible, Kids like me, How to pray, Crafts, Games, Resources. The section on the Bible includes a four part study on Jonah.
